Not all Circles are Spheres

Many people think that the circular objects they see in the sky are spherical, but just because something is a circle and may even appear to look spherical does not mean that is is spherical. Here is a little video to show how circles that may appear to look spherical are not necessarily.

Some people would say that only a sphere with light being cast onto it can have shadows, but the moon is not lite by the light from the sun and therefore the moons waxing and waning shadows are produced by the electrical charge of the moon.

Just like the featured image for this post, both images are circles but the image on the right appears to be representing a sphere simply because of the shading.
