Do you wonder what “shooting stars” are? Isn’t it interesting that “stars” or whatever object in our sky only fall down towards the horizon and sometimes have a somewhat parallel trajectory to our horizon but NEVER fly across our sky in an upward trajectory? Does this prove that the earth is flat? Does it prove that up is away from the horizon and down is towards the horizon?
This may be more of a biblical answer than some people would like to accept, but also consider that meteors are simply falling debris.
